We are proud to announce that prof. Piotr Kasprzak from the Department of General and Vascular Surgery of the University of Regensburg has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Poznan University of Medical Sciences.
The award recognizes prof. Kasprzak’s extraordinary achievements in the development of intravascular techniques used in the treatment of thoracic aortic aneurysm, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and thoraco-abdominal aortic aneurysm, as well as the invention of unique methods for spinal cord protection and the research on vascular diseases.
