We have the pleasure to host Prof. Marcin Iwanicki for a guest lecture on current topics in cancer research: “Frequent Neoplasia in “Healthy” Pancreata”.
Prof. Iwanicki is a professor at the Department of Chemistry, Chemical Biology, and Bioengineering of Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ, USA. In his research he focuses on:
– 3D models of ovarian cancer (OC),
– OC metastasis processes in the context of extracellular matrix, osmolyte microenvironment, and chemotherapy recovery,
– high-resolution live-cell imaging,
– OC mesothelial clearance and its dependence on mutant p53 and mesenchymal transcriptional programs.
This is an open in-person lecture that will take place on June 15, 2023, at 4pm in room 3009 of PUMS Medical Biology Center at 8 Rokietnicka St.
