Assoc. Prof. Agnieszka Neumann-Podczaska from PUMS Department of Palliative Care will be commencing her 6-month Fulbright Senior Award visit to the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (KY, USA) in the coming months.
The scholarship will allow her to conduct a research project in geriatrics focused on evaluation and optimization of pharmacotherapy of patients practiced in therapeutic teams. Prof. Neumann-Podczaska will also be teaching medical and pharmacy students as a visiting professor.
UKY College of Pharmacy in Lexington is a partner school of PUMS – the cooperation agreement between the two universities resulted in student and staff mobility in the last couple of years as well as research cooperation.
