On December 7, 2022, a ceremony was held at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Hospital of PUMS to name the Neonatology Ward II, headed by Prof. Tomasz Szczapa, after the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Foundation.
The event was honored by the visit of Jerzy Owsiak, who, in the presence of Prof. Michał Nowicki, PUMS Vice-President for Science and International Cooperation, personally presented a commemorative plaque to Prof. Maciej Wilczak, Director of the Hospital on Polna Street, and to Prof. Tomasz Szczapa. Thanks to the equipment donated by the GOCC Foundation (WOŚP), Patients of the Neonatology Ward at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinical Hospital are treated and diagnosed at a world-class level.
