PUMS Young Researchers’ Club

PUMS Young Researchers’ Club is a new initiative under the patronage of our Doctoral School that offers workshops, advice, and research opportunities, aiming to become to go-to organization for PUMS young researchers to learn, write and publish academic work in reputable journals.

In their first on-line workshop, consisting of several meetings in January and February, the following topics will be covered:
1. Selecting the topic, planning, and formulating the paper structure.
2. How to write introduction to the research.
3. How to write the body and discussion.
4. How to write a conclusion and abstract.
5. How to finalize a manuscript and review it.
6. How to find the proper journal and the process of submitting the paper.

Selected workshop participants will also be offered to contribute to ongoing research at the university.
Workshops will be supervised by the Head of the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Prof. Elzbieta Kaczmarek. PUMSYRC activities will be conducted under the patronage of the PUMS-Doctoral School Office Directors (Prof. Ewa Wender-Ożegowska, Prof. Tomasz Goslinski, Prof. Michal Karlik).
